Yep, and did you know that she is briefed by the CIA every day (Obama AND Biden are not)?! Yep, and did you know as Gov. of Alaska she is the commander and chief of the Alaskan National Guard?! Yep, and did you know that Gov. Palin is in charge of the largest missile defense system in the U.S. [Alaska]?! Just thought you Obama/Biden voters would like to know a few facts. Whoever wrote that little paragraph completely missed the point and then apparently mis-quoted Limbaugh to the NASCAR Spokeman because Limbaugh was describing Palin as being an average American (or at least the opposite of elite) and then the NASCAR guy says that they're drivers and fans are from all walks of American life. If you ask me, it would seem that they agree. So what exactly is the problem here?

Now. . .if you ask my opinion, I'll tell you that I don't know one single "big city" person who is a NASCAR fan. . .and if there are perhaps a few folks in the burbs who follow NASCAR, it's because they moved there from the country. NASCAR is boring. It's just cars driving in circles with everyone on the edge of their seats waiting for a wreck.

How can people listen to Rush. I tried once and he cant even complete a thought or a sentence. Read the article above....once sentence has two different thoughts and direction. A sign of brain fry or plain stupidity.

Ok most of the commentors are completely ignorant to what Rush was getting across. It was not HE who thinks Nascar is a "Hick" sport, it is the elite members of our government. It is clear as day that is what he was trying to get across. The writer of this article and those trying to blow this out of proportion are idiots. He was taken out of context and many of the commentors and this writer need to get educated. And as a CPA,MBA I am not gullable, I am probably more educated than most on this board. It was a complete thought, but Rush does not talk down to idiots, he expects you to use your peabrain and lift your ignorant self above your current level.

Get a life. anyone who listens to rush regularly knows he has the utmost respect for the NASCAR people. He sees them as representatives of hard working Americans that make this country great. It's the elitists on the political left in NYC, Boston, SF etc. who look down on the NASCAR crowd as backward and unsophisticated. To them Sarah Palin from Alaska may as well be a NASCAR fan b/c of their disrespect for the average American who loves NASCAR. THe fact that this story even ran shows the naivety of the media
