Milton Bradley has said he intends to parlay his career-best 2008 season into a multiyear deal or he won't play in 2009. Now, he gets to see if his demands will be met. The Rangers have had several conversations with Bradley's agent, Sam Levinson, but were not surprised by Bradley's decision. Bradley can start to talk with other clubs immediately but can't discuss contract terms before Nov. 13.

...or else, what? Later MB. Don't collect $20M as you pass "GO".

October 31, 2008  08:19 AM ET

LMAO...."or else" IS this sociopath for real? OHHHH PLEASE MILTON PLAY...PLAY. Baseball just won't be the same if you are not stalking broadcasters and acting like the TRUE moron that you are.

You're crippling your agent Milton. Shut up and let the agent work.

October 31, 2008  08:54 AM ET

THIS is gonna be good. Can we just hit fast forward to the "OR ELSE" part? I've got a hankerin' for some people to come on and dispute that this guys a thug.

there is a reason players have their 'career' years in their
walk year.....I would NEVER sign this guy to any lenth of
contract -or the motivation and SANITY may disappear

Bradley trying to cash in on the Manny plan. "Or else" will probably end up finished with "I'll pee on the outfield wall."

I recognize you, clown. Is it from a nightmare or real life?

you sir, are assuming he is sane in the slightest bit. Lest you forget....this is the same man who tore his knee fighting an over the hill first base coach in order to argue a call with a man wearing dark clothing.

And at the same time injured one of his teammates. Lets just fastforward to the point where he is sitting in his bathroom deciding what would taste better as a last meal? .45 or .38 cal.

Be careful with those words. Spreewell once held out like that sort of and he hasn;t played ball since.

October 31, 2008  11:33 AM ET

I'd say somebody grab Milton and stop him from saying anything else stupid that would hinder his agent from getting him a deal but he might tear his ACL again if you grab him the wrong way.

What up FMSD? This is great, having a board game manufacturer threaten you. "OR ELSE" that's rich!

Or else he is going to start acting crazy again like he did for all his other teams.

Let him go, one good year doesn't prove anything.

Especially when that one good year happens to be a contract year. When a player has consistent stats in his career but then has a noticiably better year in a contract year it throws up a red flag in my book that the player doesn't give it 100% unless they are playing for a new deal. That isn't the kind of guy you want on your team.

October 31, 2008  02:32 PM ET

The only other person I have heard of called Milton was that wierd guy in Office Space that ended up torching the building. hmmmmmmmmmm

October 31, 2008  02:39 PM ET

If there was ever an acceptable reason for collusion, this would be it!

Let him sit and watch the games with Barry!

This guy deserves it hands down. It's about time Bradley is "paid" the respect he deserves, as one of the most disrespected, misunderstood, undervalued players in the game. I'm still sick to my stomach my Padres couldn't sign him last winter. Whether he's a Padre or not, I'll always root for Bradley.
