If by "fluke" you mean showed utter dominance in EVERY series then yes, they fluked it up royally. They were 22 games over .500 and were red hot hitting the playoffs where other teams paled in comparison.

By fluke i mean they 'got lucky', 'should have lost', 'wont be seen in Oct next year', 'they phluked their way to this win'.

How could anyone trust his abilities and especially attitude for as long of a contract as he is asking for?

Manny is NOT leaving LA FORGETABOUTIT

If Man-Ram goes to the Yankees, he will give them at least four productive years since they will be able to use him at DH and thereby extend his career. not to mention that the rivalry with Boston will probably get ridiculous ratings. Arod would probably hit sixty HR with Manny in the line up. and if the yanks get Tex.....ooooh forget about it. it will be good for baseball.
