Cheerleaders catch Big Ben's eye

For years, the Redskins had their cheerleaders warming up in the visiting tunnel, which meant outside the visiting locker room. It was quite a distraction -- a good distraction -- for opponents. The league told all teams to not do that, and everybody knew it was because of the Redskins, who host the Steelers on Monday night. "I'm not a big fan of playing there because it's loud," quarterback Ben Roethlisberger said, "and they're really good at home, and they try to make their cheerleaders stretch in our tunnel before we come out of the locker room. That's just not good. The couple of preseason games I've played down there, we've seen it." Is Roethlisberger actually complaining? Could it have been a distraction, part of the Redskins' home-field advantage? "It can be, let's be truthful," he said. "They've done it before. I've heard a rumor that they're not allowed to do it anymore."

Use every means possible to defeat your opponent..........and besides, if you're going down for the count, isn't that the way to do it?

Cheerleaders catch most men's eyes...whether they be from Washington,Dallas, Philly, New York etc.
If anything, I'd think it'd help me get amped up to play well!

Back in the day the opposing teams best players would get knocks on their hotel room doors @ 12 at night from ladies sent there by the home team.
Laurence Taylor wrote about this in his autobiography.
He always answered the door by saying "Ladies you've come to the right place."
It didn't affect his spectacular on field play as much as Big Ben says seeing a cheerleader bent over is distracting.

Then again, Taylor was all coked up.

I imagine it would be pretty difficult, not to mention dangerous, to play QB with a woody.

(In my best Big Ben voice) "Ahh my eyes! They burn!!!"
Suck it up man. Enjoy the sights and use it as motivation to wup up on the opposing team I say.
