For the second week in a row, Illinois coach Ron Zook is dealing with an off-the-field issue with one of his regular running backs. And it comes as the Illini try to end a two-week slump in the running game heading into Saturday's game against Western Michigan at Detroit's Ford Field. Freshman Mikel LeShoure will miss the game because of a broken jaw suffered in an altercation with a teammate, the school said Monday. "I'm very disappointed something like this has occurred," coach Ron Zook said in a statement. "We have investigated the incident and will deal with it internally." The other player was not identified.

Yeah, kids fight, but to hit your teammate hard enough to brake his Jaw!!! Not good!!

questionable character is an understatment!

The incident will be handled internally, the cheerleader already apologized and she promised not to hit the player again.

Players get in fight, 1 gets broken jaw...

How exactly does one blow this out of proportion?

This is bad. This is ugly.

Someone could have been stabbed or shot in the stomach so it would be a slow and painful death. Or they could have been violated like Linda Blair was in that girls prison movie, the one with the broomstick in the shower scene.
