Can Pettitte wind up a Ranger?
Andy Pettitte has a relationship with Ranger president Nolan Ryan, so there was speculation at the GM meetings that, perhaps, Pettitte could wind up in Texas rather than New York. But a Ranger official said he sees almost no chance of that occurring.

Pettitte will not come back to the Yankees that is for sure. Sabathia, Burnett, Peavy, Lowe, Oliver Perez are on the Yankees radar. They will either pick up (3) of these free agents and add them to Chamberlain and Wang... or (2) and develop Hughes/Kennedy as the #5 starter.
