I am thinking that is a typo and was supposed to say 11-0.

had the opportunity to go see Duke/NC State last weekend. Those facilities at Duke are terrible. They dont even have a Visitors Locker room. The away team meets behind the scoreboard at half time. Wallace Wade High School Stadium - what a joke. The ACC really needs to step in and eliminate Duke from having any home games until they update their facilities.

Well it looks like Cutcliffe keeps on rolling.

Don't worry. With Cutcliffe breathing life into this program with a near .500 finish and some key recruits, the boosters will start to write checks for the football program.

This is a great get for Duke!!!!!!!! It won't take him long to adjust to going 0-11 in college against better competition. Now this is out of the box thinking on recruiting @ Duke...get all the kids from the 0-11, 1-10, maybe 2-9 high schools so that the Duke FB experience won't be such a shock to their system.

I'm a Duke Fan. Unfortunately, the record is correct, and the team went 0-11. Apparently, they graduated a large senior class so they only had four starters returning this year. I'm willing to cut Cutcliffe some slack on this recruit.

As for the facilities, they are the worst in the ACC but are getting better. The Yoh Center is pretty good and opened in 2002. They have more plans to upgrade the facilities. It's just tough since they have such a small alumni base in NC.

He was on the ESPN 150 watch list and was considering some other respectable schools. Some coaches do better with 2 & 3 star recruits then others do with 4 & 5 star recruits. Charlie Cheeseburger come to mind anyone?

Yeah, but Duke alum are normally a little better off economically than your avg school's alumni.

Not necessarily. A medical degree from UNC pays just as much as a medical degree from Duke and a sociology degree from Duke pays just as bad as a sociology degree from UNC. Just because the school is expensive doesn't mean the students all come from rich families. Most Duke students I know get massive amounts of financial aid.

Does Duke really not have a visitor locker room?

An obvious attempt to stockpile all of the available talent in NC. Pete Carrol, Urban Meyer and Nick Saban are livid that this one got away. Cutcliffe is on the fast track to creating a dynasty.
