Shooting guard Michael Snaer, who took official visits to Kansas and Missouri, announced on ESPNU on Friday that he will play at Florida State next season. Snaer, the No. 11 overall player according to Rivals.com, narrowed his choices to KU and Florida State before deciding on the Seminoles. The Jayhawks will sign two players in the early period -- power forward Thomas Robinson and point guard Elijah Johnson -- and KU coach Bill Self said he would like to sign a third in the 2009 class -- probably either Xavier Henry, the No. 3 overall recruit, or Dominic Cheek, the No. 16 overall recruit. Both players are shooting guards and are expected to sign during the late period.

Guess he figures he's got a better chance to start at FSU over the other 2 can you blame him for that i don't

He picked an up and coming contender. Coach Hamilton is one of the best coaches in the land as well.

He couldn't make it at Oklahoma St, what makes him an up & comer now? Another potential one or two year player who is going to play at a non televised school and end up there for 4 years. Not a good move.

What did Self already fill up all the coaching and athletic department jobs with parents of other recruits?

Obviously yoke o no you have no idea what you are talking about. Most programs have relatives of star players working for them in some capacity. KU just happens to make it a family atmosphere, unlike most schools, that is why we are chosen over most schools. His choice is due to the fact that he could play more at FSU than KU and I don't knock him for that. If his interest was to win a national title, he then made a dumb mistake, especially since FSU is in the ACC

Or it could be that he will get much more national T.V. time playing in the ACC rather than the Big 12.
