08:29 AM ET 11.17 | The Nets have had talks with Golden State involving multiple players, including unhappy Warriors Al Harrington and Marco Bellinelli. The Warriors wanted either Josh Boone or Sean Williams. The Nets weren't interested. Eventually, they likely will make a trade. The Nets have seven power forwards/centers, but currently only four healthy so nothing is imminent.

- the nets have some decent young pieces-
biggst issue is them trying to unload vince.

All these other side deals are meaningless unless
vinces anchor of a contract is moved

I think the Warriors and Nelson would be better served by attempting to resolve the issues between Harrington and the team. None of the trade rumors appear to allow equal value for the troubled power forward. At the end of the day, none of them seem to make the Warriors a better basketball team--at least not now.

but also it's the west- now is certainly relevant- but
the underlying issue is how are they set up for the
next several years....
Ellis is good- but other than that- I don't see too much

GS is a mess, NJ is a mess...

i want to get as much under the cap as possible. if we can unload VC' s contract and free up money foe lebron and bosh with harris thats a good core.

November 17, 2008  12:10 PM ET

hence, no al harrington please. we can suffer for another year.

November 17, 2008  12:14 PM ET

This is a boring trade!

November 17, 2008  01:09 PM ET

Well Harrington will more and there have not been very many articles on where he actually might be moved too. I wonder if teams are even interested.

November 17, 2008  01:09 PM ET

Couldnt they get a picture with Al Harrington with the ball and not Melo

November 17, 2008  02:09 PM ET

Al Harrington for Eddy Curry. Somebody please help the Knicks!

November 17, 2008  02:44 PM ET

The Worriers should just bench Harrington. They should Mar-Bury his **** on the bench.
The New Jersey Nuts should dump Vince, not the future talent. Damn - doesn't anybody think anymore???

bosh is not goin to NJ, which is where the nets are stuck for the foreseeable future

Are you kidding me? Why wouldn't you do that trade? Al Harrington and Marco Bellinelli for Boone and Sean Williams!!! I would have been thrilled!!!! Still, we are 4-2 with Harris.

Neither is LeBron. Neither one will be a Net next year.
