It is being reported that Chelsea is readying a January swoop for Giovani Dos Santos, Tottenham Hotspur's young attacking player. The Sun claims that Luiz Felipe Scolari is desperate to add another creative spark to his forward-line and has asked Roman Abramovich and co to authorize a move for Dos Santos.

I think he would fit in with Scolari's new attacking football at Chelsea.

What about Jozy Altidore? He would be on the cheap...much more so than Dos Santos. And with the 15 scouts let go by Roman - he's obviously got some cost concerns.
I don't know what it is today but all the T&R's are making me point out that Jozy needs some playing time.

He should've never gone to England in the first place.

I like this kid...why Barcelona decided to part ways with him baffles me. I would love to see him in a young and attack minded sqaud like Arsenal. A definite must have!

Won't happen

I think Dos Santos is very talented, he learned a lot with Barca and with Dinho and Messi. Gio and Vela are the future of Mexican futbol, they already won the U17 WC. But because of the speed and physicality in the EPL I'm not convinced its the right place for Gio, Vela seems to have adapted well. But maybe Scolari can do a lot with Gio, wherever he goes he needs more PT and if he will get that with Chelsea then it could be a great career move, although I think Chelsea may need more experienced players right now. Young talent need time, direction and good coaching, who better than Scolari? I hope this happens.

This should happen. Scolari and this kid is a great match.

This move would be great for Dos Santos. With worhtless Robihno who has tottenham blinded taking PT from him, he should move to Chelsea. He should develop a lot more with Scolari. There is a reason Scolari wants him and so do a lot of other teams. He's barely 20 and already has played with top clubs in Europe, lot of room to grow.

Dos Santos to Chelsea would be great. Tottenham obviously has some troubles right now and they're playing their veteran forwards instead of Dos Santos. I still don't think Dos Santos is a forward, but this would be great for him to be able to move to a world class team.

He'll get lost on that club.
