Arsenal Football Club have some serious competition for Fabian Delph. Newcastle United has already had one offer laughed off by Gary McAllister's club, whilst Arsene Wenger has the midfielder high on his list of potential new recruits. However, according to reports, Roy Keane is set to stun the Gunners boss by making an offer to take Delph to Sunderland the when the transfer window reopens.

Who doesn't Roy Keane want? Arsenal isn't exactly known for going with deep pockets and they have a lot of youth depth so I could easily see Roy outbidding Arsene for this guy.

He's a bit of a project, hence Wenger's interest. He looked good in an FA Cup game I saw a week or so ago.

This kid is English and currently plays for Leeds.

The thing with the Gunners is Arsene finds the young talent. It's not that they won't spend money. It's that once the player gets there - the wages are set in stone. Hence why Flamini took off to Milan.

Delph fits what Arsene does - young, talented players...and then sells high.
