The Titans blew it by not picking him up before the draft.....Send Turner up here to the CFL, Winnipeg sure could use an exciting player!

Why should Michael be pissed? He never said anything about wanting to be traded or complained about playing behind the greatest RB in the NFL today. AJ said he'd make a move if it made sense. Obviously nothing has made sense, so he's a Charger. Michael's a great RB and the Chargers are lucky to have him.

A. J. Smith was an idiot for thinking he could get a 1st rounder for Turner, when Marshall Faulk went for less, while he already went to pro bowls and was in his prime, when he was traded.

It looks like sour grapes on A.J.'s part. It also looks like he knows he won't get a 1st or 2nd rounder for him even if injuries happen in the preseason.

I think the Chargers will definitely try to work him to the ground this year before he leaves. Maybe he'll do both PRs and KRs, while getting close to 150 carries.

It would suck for Turner, because if he gets injured this year he'll only get about half of what he is worth in FA.

Titans or maybe even the packers should have gotten Turner while they could. Oh well Packers...guess you will have to see how Morency will do

Turner is good but he's a Mike Anderson, Good but not Great in a great situation. It would have been nice to see him in action and out of the AFC west but oh well if you want to see him at his best just watch Chargers games, He'll never be any better than that. Also San Diego is smart as much as I would hate to see it LT is due for an injury. He may have avoided the Madden Curse but the idiot Signed up for Campbell' s chunky soup commercial and that's almost worse!!!

Good choice, because the teams ,now, are looking at Larry Johnson and teams would rather give a first rounder for LJ than they would Turner

Smith has publically stated several times that he is content to receive the supplemental draft pick the NFL will likely award us if we lose MT and not pick up any major pieces in free agency.

Anyone who thought AJ would change his mind has never talked to Marty Schottenheimer...

I disagree.....Teams would rather get Michael Turner because he is younger, less wear and tear on his body, won't have to pay a CRAZY Contract, and he is faster.....Just a little bit tho.

Burner runs a 4.58-4.60 while LJ runs a 4.65-4.66, I know it doesnt mean as much but when you can get a good player that is fresher, younger, and less Money..........That is what they will take. I just don't see many teams that need him. Miami, Lions, Packers, ATL, and KC.....If Johnson keeps running his mouth about something he shouldn't get.

If I was Turner I would be pissed. He losses Money and Time. We all know that Running Backs only have a certain amount of time before Age takes over. Instead of being 25 with a new team and contract....He will be 26.....Not that many years left. But he isn't LJ. He won't complain to the media and ***** because he's not a Chump.

Yeah Poor Michael Turner. He gets paid more than Larry Johnson and he is about to win his first NFL Championship. Dear REST OF LEAGUE, we will run the ball down your **** throats.

The only reason that the Chargers won't win the big one is your Secondary. Every team knows how to beat that D. If you can hold the Blitz without using Max Protect Packages then you can burn them. Jammer is very inconsistant. Cromartie will come along with time. Jue/McCree are backups, Keil didn't work out and they sent a whole lot of draft picks for the Most Overrated Player in the Draft. Eric Weddle is not the Savior. I watched him over and over again get turned around in coverage by less talent U New Mexico Wideouts. He also has trouble stopping the run. If you watched Utah games which not alot of you did.....He isn't worth a 2nd rd pick. You are going to get a good Special Teams guy and a Backup.

The fact of the matter this was the only good descion that AJ made this off season. The chargers "IF" they decide to trade turner in the future will be able to get a frist round pick for him he is a great player and will get his own team but hopefully not for a couple years. After a 14-2 season I dont think that every team know how to beat that defense. The Chargers know how to hid there corners well. The key to beating them is if you can block there front 4 if you cant than it's going to be a long day for any team

Well USC fan.....You have to block San Diego's front 3 not front 4. They have the 2nd best front 3-4 3 in football. But IF teams can protect then the corners and safteys can't cover well. That is how they got beat in the playoffs. The Chargers will have another 14-2 or 13-3 season.....But they have to step it up in the playoffs.

The Chargers have the Most Underrated BEST OFFENSIVE LINE in the NFL. The Best Running Game. Even with inferior talent at the WR pos...They still get it done....Gates and Malamuana or whatever are the Heart of the passing game. But the secondary will hinder them from beating the Pats in the AFC Championship game.

USC's#1Fan - The only good decision AJ made in the off season? I don't know but Kris Dielman comes to mind very quickly, along with resigning Shaun Phillips, Brandon M. etc.. Come on think before you type or you'll turn Bruin Blue.
