Brady Quinn has a small fracture in his right index finger, but is expected to make his third straight start on Sunday. Coach Romeo Crennel said the fracture was discovered on an X-ray, which was taken after Quinn complained of soreness in the finger after Wednesday's practice. Quinn was examined by a hand specialist, who cleared him to play, the coach said. "This is a small fracture," Crennel said. Quinn will wear a splint on the finger when he's not practicing or playing.

How accurate was he before the fracture? The coach may be putting his job on the line.

Brady Quinn is inaccurate and weak armed. How bad could a broken finger hurt his performance?

November 21, 2008  11:22 AM ET

Drew Bledose played with a rod poking out of his broken middle finger on his passing hand for 5 weeks about 10 years ago and won AFC player of the Week twice with it. Steve Young and others said they still dont know how he did that but he did so its not unheard of.

And Derek Anderson, Charlie Frye, Trent Difler, Jeff Garcia, Kelly Holcomb, and Tim Couch were any better? Brady Quinn is the best QB the Browns have had since returning to the NFL in 1999.

Brady Quinn and weak-armed in the same sentence = you don't watch football at all.

The only thing that Cleveland is doing by winning a few games is saving Crennel's job. Crennel is why they are where they're at, he sucks as a head coach. He rode coat-tails in New England and when he was with the Giants under the Tuna, Parcells was often seen screaming at him..Cleveland fans are in for many more years of misery as long as that meathead keeps calling the shots.

Drew Bledsoe played like that, or was it Steve DeBerg?
