Why is this rumor not a shock? Manny to the Mets with who as the GM? :) Bet ya he doeswind up with the Mets as Minaya overpays for another player and further weakens their outfield defense.

who really cares where manny goes? besided manny and boreus!

love to see him go to the yankees, then we get to see him tear that team apart even further right in front of us

I said it before and I'll say it again. If Manny ends up with the Yanks I'm done with them. I'll put the rest of the East Coast teams into a hat (Excluding the Mutts and Sox), pick a team and go with it.
You have to draw a line somewhere and a guy who fakes injuries and dogs it to get out of 2 years at 20 mil each is where I do.

After all these years I may be able to dump the Yanks but I couldn't root for the Sox. I'd go with the Rays, I have family down there and I like Tampa but now I'd be accused of front running so that won't work either. Same thing with the Phils. They'd be a good choice, the Mets fans hate them and they're a 90 minute Amtrak ride away but once again that would be front running.
With my luck I'll pick the Nationals out of the hat.
The Yanks won't get Manny so hopefully it won't come to that.

Manny stories are already a big zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz and we are only in the fall. GOD help us all.

Maybe the President elect who wants to fix the college football playoff system(and i hope he does) can pass a law that bans boring news stories from FN. Oh wait then they would have hardly any stories!

Manny Ramirez has been wanting to play for the New York Mets for the past couple of years and he really loves New York. He does not like the Yankees because of the rivalry he had against them with the Boston Red Sox. He does like the Mets though. He was best friends with Pedro in Boston and they had that Dominican relationship with him. Pedro is a free agent but he can re-sign with the Mets. The Mets dont want him because he's old. His arm is getting tired and he can't play ball any longer. Manny will go to the Mets depending on Pedro but if Pedro Martinez decides to sign with the Mets, I expect Manny to be playing in left field in the new stadium next season.

good stick, bad attitude... don't want him... sign ibanez!

This would surely get the Mets over that hump.....
