Give it a few months. Oil is not going to stay cheap. And if a team really wanted Jagr they could make the room for him. Also he could take less money, because less money is better than no money.

If that did happen (and that is assuming a lot) I think the Pens would try and make room for him.

Well stated cje. We are in a false sense of security with oil being 'so cheap'. I didn't realize that the Russian teams were that involved with the oil industry. I guess some of them are because of the ties with the Russian Mob.

btw, you can have Jags....

Frankly at this point in his career, Jags plays for freebies. There had been plenty of plays over his last 2 seasons in the NHL that he just quit on the play instead of being the difference maker. He doesn't play as hard as he used to, and frankly most teams are better off without him.
