Bayern on verge of signing Tymoschuk

According to the latest reports out of Germany, Bayern Munich are on the verge of securing a deal for Zenit St Petersburg captain Anatoliy Tymoschuk. "Bild am Sonntag" reported on Sunday that the midfield all-rounder is already in Munich to undergo the requisite medical before the deal can be officially completed.

who cares about landon?! timo plays as a holding mf, he'll be brought for either vb or ze. I think this finally shows everyone that bayern is determined to win in europe again and to show off how good the bl is. bayern have been very impressive this year in europe and lately in the bl, plus they get i nice long break for 6 weeks while most of the other big leagues kill themselves without a break.

Long breaks can go the reverse too - and hurt the team, especially if they are playing great football leading into the break.

For example...maybe Hoffenheim (spl) losses steam and not only doesn't win the Bundesliga but falls out of a Europe spot. It could happen.
