Running back Bryce Brown of Wichita, Kan., rated 10th by ESPN among all high-school seniors, remains orally committed to Miami but is ''definitely considering some other schools,'' said Brian Butler, the trainer/mentor for Bryce and his brother, highly-touted UM freshman linebacker Arthur Brown. Bryce -- who always planned to take other visits -- has gone to Oregon, Clemson and Missouri and will visit UM Dec. 12, plus Purdue.

I am guessing things aren't going so well for Arthur. Been watching a lot of Canes games but I haven't heard his name mentioned much.

At the end of the day I would expect Bryce to go to the Canes even if Miami has other running back recruits lined up.

He would be smart to go there if he is looking to get to the pros

yeah because graig cooper, javarris james, and derron thomas are doing so well, combined 252/1172/4.6 stats. the kid would be better off going to ku and starting over jake sharp, or go to clemson where he can be the starting back as a true freshman ( I don't see any way c.j. spiller stays for his senior season) and be one of the top 3 backs in the acc. ( I'm not sure that's saying much)

Clemson got some young running backs. That wouldn't be a good place for him either if he's scared by competition.

quite well thanks for asking. he is not the feature back like he desired but he is putting up substantial numbers compared to other fourth string backs across the country, hell even thrid and second string backs for that matter. 53/394/7.4 per

compared to:
Percy Harvin (1st)..........61/538/8.8 per
Chris Rainey (2nd).........82/654/8.0 per
Jeff Demps (3rd)..........55/529/9.6 per
collectively:.....................251/2115/8.4 per (4 backs)

Moody's stats speak for itself compared to his stint at usc 79/459/5.8 per
speaking of which how is usc "stable" of backs performing?

C.J. Gable..............98/601/6.1 per
Stafon Johnson.....107/595/5.6 per
Joe McKnight.........69/547/7.9 per
collectively:...........274/1743/6.3 per (3 backs)

no need to mention Broderick Green and Marc Tyler no stats to speak of.

no comparison

I'm sure Oklahoma could find room for both of those boys if they wanted to play in Norman.

Gee Gator, I guess GT didnt just rush for 400+ yards against the SEC #3 team, UGA? They didnt do that with crappy running backs. Dont you SEC homers realize the ACC has had more first rounders and overall draft picks than the SEC for the past three years? I hate folks like you who insult without looking at facts first.

Im more pumped up by the other RB, I thinks its Killen #10 RB the Canes got then Bryce but his Bro didn't play cause Spence was playing so great an he's just a Freshman but you'll hear his name alot next season. Cooper an James will both be back an healthy an hvae great years, James needs to come back after his injury plauged season, either way i'd rather go to a school that has 4 great Starting Pro Bowl RB's in the NFL now an Bryce has a great chance to play as a Freshman since Derrons graduating an the other guys are scat backs. But the 2 guys coming in are both built solid an can carry the load but why wouldn't you want to play WITH your own brother of all people? He'll get playing time next season an he an Killen I think it is are going to be the next 1 2 punch for Miami.

another canes article, look who shows up.. surprise, the sethgator ****.

perhaps you should go back to the percy harvins pu55y is bleeding article..

funny you mention derron thomas though, hes had what, 30 carries this year?

its also comical how you talk down on the ACC so much. lets see here, 10 ACC teams .500 or better, 8 SEC teams .500 or better. 4 ACC teams in the top 25, 3 SEC teams in the top 25. hurmm, looks like the SEC isnt such a hot conference this year is it?

back to the article though, im sure hes not happy his brother has done nothing but play on special teams this year, as the coaches claim hes not ready.. how could he be any worse than glen "MISSED TACKLE" cook?

He will not play over Andre Ellington and Jamie Harper. If he were to go to Clemson, he would be a specialy player like Jacoby Ford is now. Ellington and Harper at the sequal to Thunder and Lightning in Death Valley!!

yeah, I'm like that sore on you'r mom's taint, no matter what you do to cover up or hide it, it just keeps coming back.

Interesting how he's now looking elsewhere a week after Bill Snyder was named HC at K-State.

did you check your info, you got the .500 or better part right, but you left out that both the acc and sec are 85-59 combined, you left out that the sec will have 2 bcs schools and the acc will only have 1 because it's required. the top 25?

AP poll
1. Alabama.......15. Georgia Tech
2. Florida..........18. Boston College
17. Georgia
22. Mississippi

GT did that against UGA not Florida

the gators against the run:

12 games.
378/1233/3.2 per
102 per game

GT vs. UGA 48-45
UF vs. UGA 49-10

I'd love to see that high-school offense against Florida, this isn't Navy or Georgia Southern.
