Miami coach Randy Shannon said at a Dolphins Touchdown Club luncheon last week that he might settle on one quarterback next season. But there's uncertainty internally about whether one of them might transfer before then. Word is Florida would covet Robert Marve if he leaves.

speaking of Florida, HOW BOUT THOSE SOONERS!!!! Bring on Tebow. We'll murderize him.

They should have tampering in college football as well because in that seems to be the case w/ Marve.

I don't think he'd make anyone forget Timmy, but I could definitely see him having success running that offense.

Ooooooh, how I wish you were right... but you're not.

" Thou shall not covet thy competitions Quarterback......Amen"...

Hey, it is Sunday...I think this fulfills any church obligations for football fans today...

Right... Same as LSU did. Same as UGA did. Same as Arkansas, FSU, Miami, Alabama...

All these teams had designs on shutting down Tebow. That game "plan" just won't work.

haha, this article is hilarious.. all the crap that the **** talk about the canes, then they roll in and try to steal our players.

December 7, 2008  10:42 AM ET

Marve seems pretty good. I wouldn't mind having him here. He'll have to stay in long sleeves though, the fact that he has his own initials tattooed on the back of his arms annoys me to no end.

by the way - it looks like someones REALLY scared of the storm brewing down in miami.. yep, C.U.M coach urban myer

December 7, 2008  10:46 AM ET

That "****" stuff is really clever and original. I like how it seems to imply we are all homosexuals and how that makes us failures and such, it is such a factual and well thought out argument, because all homosexuals are bad people right?

A). I don't doubt Shannon wants to keep Marve.

B). I can "*giggle*" from my high horse all I want. I am confident in my sexuality.

C). Why so angry? Is the swag running out of the swagger machine down there in Miami?

All I could think of watching the OU/Mizzou game is "Does ANYONE in the Big 12 play defense?". And please, Sooner fan, do not tell me that OU does. They've allowed 62 points and 700 yards of offense in the last two games. I'm not shocked any of the Big 12 QB's are putting up huge numbers with defensive efforts like this.

Even the 0-8 (in conference) Iowa State QB completed nearly 60% of his 400 pass attempts. A 60% passer, and you can't win ONE game? Why? Because nobody plays defense in the Big 12.

December 7, 2008  11:29 AM ET

Last time i checked this was an Article about Robert Marve and how the **** would love him because they cant recruit their own players apparently?

Please take your SEC vs Big 12 crap elsewhere..

the SEC blows this year, and oklahoma will destroy FL, thats just the way it is.

December 7, 2008  11:35 AM ET

Yeah, since Florida couldn't recruit Tebow, Harvin, Spikes, Murphy, Nelson, Demps, Rainey, Haden, Wright, or Chris Leak for that matter, we had all those players transfer over from the "U."

It's a really smart system, since Miami spends all the time and money to get these guys to go to school, and then all Florida has to do is wait for them to transfer.

December 7, 2008  11:40 AM ET

By the way, svtjer, I think you're forgetting about Brock Berlin.

But don't worry, you aren't expected to actually make any sense. You can just keep saying whatever comes to mind.

SEC was not the best all around conference this year. I'm not sure there was a best all around conference this season. However, I would argue that:

SEC has the best defenses this year (and for the most part, young offenses unable to compete against them)

Big 12 has the most capable and competent offenses. Many of the teams have smart seasoned quarterbacks that can pick apart mediocre defenses.

ACC has the most parity. Seemingly every team in conference was decently competitive this season, but there were no monsters or masters of any aspect of the game. Maybe this qualifies the ACC as the strongest top to bottom conference this season. I don't know.

Pac 10 and Big 10 just continue to bring the lol's.
