Wizards to deal with Galaxy

The Wizards are expected to announce today that they have acquired Galaxy's Santino Quaranta. The Wizards are expected to give up a pick in next year???s MLS SuperDraft for Quaranta.

I've always like Quaranta. I think that he's a great talent for the MLS.

Good, the Galaxy are sharing it's talents with the rest of MLS so they won't be so good once Becks arrives. Plus, the rest of MLS is getting stronger.

this kid has great potential, but has fallen off a bit the last year or so. he is still in his early 20's and if he can find that great play that made him a mainstay in the US youth system he could ressurrect his career.

He's had a few caps under the Bruce Arena era. He used to play for DC United too.

he was a former superstar at the youth national level when he and Eddie Johnson played together . they wreaked havoc together in CONCACAF. obviously that does not translate into the senior national team.

I remember watching those two uptop thought it would have worked out better for Quaranta a fresh start with his old strike partner Eddie this could be the move that he needs to get some respect again at the top level

This is a good move. Santino was wasted in LA and KC needs some help up top. Could work out for everyone if LA gets some defensive help.
