Charger may test free agency
Drayton Florence is entering his fifth season with the Chargers, and unless something happens, it will be his last. Florence would only say that no decision would be made at present. His agent, Drew Rosenhaus, has talked with Charger officials, according to Florence. But with nothing decided, it seems Florence has decided to test free agency following the season.

Florence is an idiot. He lost his head vs the Patriots in the 4th Quarter. He was flagged for a Personal foul on a 3rd down play that was stopped and the Patriots would've had to punt...instead they got four new downs and then they scored.
Cromartie has a ton more upside than Florence. Bye-bye!

Dude sucks. If you cant stay manned up against your WR with the front 7 leading the league in sacks wreaking havoc on QB's then you cant cover for shyte. Our secondary buh-lows. IF AJ the God hasnt locked him up with an extension then its for a reason. All praise be to AJ.

Bolts CBs have left a lot to be desired. I don't know who's worse - Florence or Jammer (remember Reche Caldwell??). All I know is, they better step up, because Merriman, Phillips, et al, can't do everything. Cromartie is still pretty much untested, but he's got great up-side. As of now, if Florence walks, oh well.....

well we all saw who his agent is and that is the only reason the story hits here...its a PR move, Rosenhaus proly wrote the release even its just to get his (Florence's) name out there so it will create a buzz...he's a second tier corner at best and most casual fans could give a D@$% who he is... and as a 49ers fan i dont want him i'll take my cahnces with anybody else

Yep as a bolt season ticket holder for a very long time our corners have always left something to be desired. Florence lost it in the playoffs and consistely got burned. Let him go and bring in anyone even the ghost of Speedy Duncan
