Miami starting quarterback Robert Marve, a redshirt freshman who is the center of Internet talk that he will not be eligible for the Emerald Bowl because of his grades, briefly addressed the issue. ''My grades are fine,'' he said. Marve declined to comment about other rumors regarding a transfer.

so are mine marve, so are mine

I think he ends up transferring but not due to his grades. Coach Shannon has to pick a QB and personally I would go with Harris. Jacory is a playmaker, something I haven't really seen from Marve.

Agree Hov, harris can move in the pocket and has surprised me at how well he passes, both are still young and will make mistakes but out of the two I would pick Harris.

harris is too small for the full load at qb, when or if he does finally take over he will be snapped in half by the likes of nigel bradham or a vince hall esque player, don't forget he is the product of a diploma mill and his surroundings.

I would have been a Rhoades Scholar if it had not been for my grades...

sethgator, what are you talking about? k.dorsey was as small as he is and could have potentially won 3 national championships. he is also the starting qb for the browns of the NFL

Thats funny coming from a guy that supports a school that produced such MENSA members as Andy Katzenmoyer, Pat Rogan ( of 0.00 GPA fame), and Maurice Clarrett

not to mention that Marve was speaking, so it would be the reporter that misspelled it...idiot

do you ever have anything intelligent to add to these threads, or do you just run your mouth like an idiot on every single one? actually, you've already answered that question, you're just an idiot.

shows how much you know, he looked just fine (especially engineering a 98 yard drive for the win).. perhaps you should also stick to commenting on things you have a clue about, and the Miami program isnt one of them.

I think you're talking about Reggie Germany. Odd that a player with a 0.00 GPA maintains his eligibility to play football for the school he's....well not really attending, but at least he's enrolled there...
