Rutgers lands RB commitment
Woodbridge senior running back De'Antwan Williams, one of the nation's most coveted college recruits, orally committed to Rutgers on Saturday at the conclusion of his official visit to the school. Rated by Rivals.com as the No. 14 overall running back recruit in the 2009 class, Williams chose the Scarlet Knights over West Virginia, Alabama, Maryland and Pittsburgh. The 5-foot-9, 208-pounder rushed for 1,950 yards and scored 32 touchdowns this season, leading the Vikings to an unbeaten regular season and the Virginia AAA Cardinal District championship.

Rutgers is continuing to pick up speed in the Big East. They arguably have the second best recruiting area (besides USF) in the entire conference. If schiano stays on as head coach, even with more lucrative offers, eventually Rutgers is going to be one of the top teams in the conference year in and year out!
