Giants may sign Joe Horn
Almost five years ago to the day, Saints wide receiver Joe Horn scored a touchdown against the Giants, lifted up the pad on the goal post and pulled out a cell phone. The Giants have finally returned his call. On a day when the team signed free-agent receiver Derek Hagan to aid a passing game lacking Plaxico Burress, the Giants also dialed up Horn and invited him for a visit, according to someone informed of the Giants' plans to meet with the 13-year veteran. The person, who requested anonymity because the Giants don't publicly confirm free-agent visits, said Horn arrived in the area Tuesday night and will take a physical Wednesday. The person also said it's unclear if he'll also be asked to work out but said a signing could be imminent.

After what I saw Sunday night, I would use that roster spot on a back up tackle.

I can't see Horn being much help in NY. With the guys they have left on the roster already, he would be lucky to be a #3 receiver.

Horn is a good player. Don't let your hate blind you. He's always put up good numbers, last year was a bad situation in ATL for everyone. If for anyreason Plax is gone for good (which i highly doubt), this would be a good pick-up. Veteran receiver to add to the mix.

Joe Horn was pretty good in his prime. What does he have left is the main question?

The is a zero risk for the Giants. Much like when the Skins signed Sean Alexander. If the guy sucks and is past his prime, which is probably the case, cut him. What if he draws single coverage and gets behind a safety and scores? The Giants look like genuises.

Oh my god...how bad was Boothe? I understand getting beat, but he looked inept out there. It was possibly the worst blocking I have ever seen in my life. The Cowboys stopped putting Ware on that side because it was a waste of time. Even Canty (who isn't bad, but not great by any stretch) was getting pressure on every single play.

This indicates serious concern in the passing game without Plax...Better make sure Jacobs is healthy for the playoffs.

Who said they was sighning him for alot of money... Joe will be good, but not as a #1 WR. He has been in the league, and was great with the my Saints. He'll be good as a possession WR, and thats that. I don't see him stretching the feild like he used to.

Who else is out there aside from Horn and Walker? Horn will be ideal as he brings swagger and all of that attitude we is lacking!!!!
