Bucs unsure who'll start at QB

The Bucs know precisely who they want their starting quarterback to be for Sunday's critical game against the Chargers. They just don't know with any certainty if Jeff Garcia will be able to play. Though he is leaning toward starting Garcia, Bucs coach Jon Gruden couldn't say for sure Wednesday that Garcia's sore calf will allow him to stick to his preferred game plan. Therefore, the Bucs are preparing more than one game plan and more than one potential starting quarterback for this week's game.

I hope Garcia is ready to play this weekend.

I kinda want to see what happens if San Diego loses and Denver wins. Sets up a really good week 17.

Gruden never knows who is going to start. Nothing new here.

@Mets - I'm assuming you meant if San Diego wins and Denver loses - if your scenario happens, Broncos clinch this week.

Does anyone really care??

Count on the Mets to choke it away... We needed Cole Hamels to post instead...

as far as Garcia starting, I hope he does. He gives the Bucs the best chance of winning.

Bucs should make Griese their starter, and get rid of Garcia. Maybe, send him to, oh...the Vikings!

Go Vikings!

You apparently missed last week's game against the Falcons where Brian Griese did his best "I am a tree, watch me get chopped down" imitation. Al Gore was mighty proud I tell ya. In addition to giving up 4 critical sacks without even attempting to run away, I counted 3 lost first downs in addition because he refused to take to the open field.

Oh wait, you were being sarcastic! :)
