Zorn will keep Redskins job

A day after the Washington Redskins were eliminated from playoff contention, Vinny Cerrato, the team's executive vice president of football operations, reiterated yesterday that first-year head coach Jim Zorn will return next season. Zorn, who is also Washington's play-caller, has come under scrutiny as the offense struggled during a three-game losing streak and 1-5 stretch that ended with Sunday's 10-3 victory over Philadelphia. But Cerrato said replacing Zorn, who has two more guaranteed seasons remaining on his contract, "has never been discussed, period."

Zorn is good. It is those people on the team that messed up the season. Yes, the QB. And the rest with bad attitudes like him, so they under-perform.

wrong....he makes question play calls on offense. He needs to let someone else call the plays

I seriously doubt if you know the inside of the locker room at Redskin Park, especially considering this weak, biased, stupid statement.

Who cares what Vinnie says? He must have pictures of Big Dan with a goat or a sheep. How did he get his job anyway? Don't believe anything until Money Dump Dan speaks........

How many people said he had no experience as a head coach or even coordinator and would fail miserably? There were a few on this site that's for sure. I look forward to year 2 of the Zorn era.

Redskins fans only dream of having a team like the Steelers. Redskins-Dallas rivalry is a farce.

He only coached one year. That's enough to get an accurate reading on a HC.

Granted we could have won maybe two more games if proper clock management and play calls were more accurate, but it's all a learning process..... He also has learned not to coach his team through the media, so that problem has fixed itself as well.... He's okay.
