USC tailback says he'll play in Rose Bowl

USC tailback Stafon Johnson did not practice Monday because of a kneecap injury, but the junior said he would play in the Rose Bowl against Penn State on Jan 1. Johnson was hurt Sunday when he was hit after catching a pass. Johnson said it felt like something in his right knee "went out and then came back in," but he was able to walk to the sideline and later to the locker room without assistance.

USC has 8 tailbacks...6 wide outs.....3 QB's.......3 tight ends.......sandy u not even gonna sniff the
field......but....watch out for....Penn State......USC is the only pro team in the LA area..so they should be favored but i believe it will be a close game

Agree with midnight --- Rose Bowl will be closer than pundits think. In the end, PSU's D will be on the field longer than USC's, and Carroll's 2nd half adjustments, extra time to prepare, etc . will be the difference. Close until maybe even the 4th quarter ...
