10:09 AM ET 06.26 | Cretin-Derham Hall (Minn.) receiver Michael Floyd was at Notre Dame as part of a summer unofficial visits tour with his mother. When he stepped into the Irish's football stadium, he encountered some Notre Dame alumni who had paid about $3,000 to have a wedding picture taken there. The wedding party noticed Floyd and began cheering and clapping, and pleading with him to play for Notre Dame.

The Big W was seen later putting his head into the wedding cake, forgetting Belichick's advice to "never eat anything bigger than your head."

June 26, 2007  12:37 PM ET

And one wonders why Notre Dame is so despised by clear-thinking people...

June 26, 2007  12:53 PM ET

notre dame sucks

June 26, 2007  02:30 PM ET

Norte Dame does suck they cant beat any good teams . Everytime they play a good team they get smacked.

June 26, 2007  03:18 PM ET

Notre Dame Sucks? I guess I shouldn't be surprised to see reruns during the summer. Why do we even talk about a program whose best years are behind them?

June 26, 2007  03:24 PM ET

I'm not a ND fan, but to say their best years are behind them is foolish. Clearly Wise has the program turned around and heading in the right direction, which is evidenced by their recruiting (7 top 100 recruits the past two classes, 6 already for 2008) vs. Wilingham's phat ZERO the year he left.

June 26, 2007  03:37 PM ET

Clearly ThreeHills is a drunken irishman...I don't give a hill o' beans how many recruits the Pope's college lands each year. Its in the W's. Which noder dame typically does not get when playing top 25 teams.

June 26, 2007  07:59 PM ET

Come to notre Dame Michael Floyd!!!!!!!

June 26, 2007  09:40 PM ET

It is obvious the some of your teams have been beaten by the Irish. Otherwise you wouldnt be so angry. Have a brew and relax.

June 26, 2007  09:50 PM ET

Clearly, ThreeHills is just providing an unbiased POV. At least he looks at the ND situation realistically. But you other yo-yos are mere fair weather fans of the teams you follow. Let USC or any other top 25 team go spiraling downward for a few years and then let me know if you're still behind your boys. It will happen. So the truth about THE TRUTH and USC's#1Fan along with the others is they have an opinion and it doesn't mean much. Weis up the echoes. Notre Dame is coming back.

June 26, 2007  11:27 PM ET

I bet he wasn't usc #1 fan till about 2003. As for the truth, he only likes whoever wins.

little chief - your just jealous!

Floyd will be ND because the need a real WR, he'll be on national TV, the offense fits his style & he's a smart kid. WE ARE ND!!!!!!

June 27, 2007  11:15 AM ET

Oh my goodness...don't I have egg on my face? I am scorched from the concise and clearly thought out remarks from the likes of Geronimo and Threehills. If noder dame is doing so well, why is their highest paid coach walking the sidelines at WU?

June 27, 2007  12:28 PM ET

Chief make comments like he knows all..I'll bet he has same education as those idiots in ALA..Chug-aLug univer....If my Memory is correct I THINK ND has beaten USC.and other big teams...cant wait too hear this persons remarks after USC visits ND this yr...and one game only way they won was due too a PUSH. which is illegal..BUT because usc was going for tittle = ref looked other way..again USC "handed a win....Let Weis get his full program in place then lets hear ur coments Chief...ND WILL RETURN.and when they due how many of u will acknowledge there achievements?...."THE TRUTH" he is walking Because he wasnt worth his money and what has he done at WU?.....wake up dummy go console ur friend walking sidelines at WU..

June 27, 2007  12:41 PM ET

Het "THE TRUTH" question for You..How many of your friend walking the sidelines at WU can truly admit they missed HIM????.meaning the players he left behind at ND....and just who did this "Friend" of urs recruit at ND????....how many in top 100?..speak up cant hear you....everyone is saying the "KID" clasusen will be good BUt I think the one that will truly bring out ND is that kid that just committed..QB out of Calif...out of the westrn states conf..shows u that coach at WU cant even recruit in his own territory.......ND isnt all football people...look at there grade avg and graduate %...one of best in country....ND is about Education.sports come 2nd...USC is football 1st education 2nd or is it 3rd....one scholl that I think is worthy of a comeback os GRAMBLING..that school had more grads then anyother school filling NFL ranks...but beciase of Americas failure too accept all races equally they Never were allowed too complete at a national level....Eddie R was a excellant coach....hey Cheif how many superbowl rings does ur coach have?..Pete carroll...Weis is like Belichek "knows how too Coach a player get out there hidden talents

June 27, 2007  01:03 PM ET

Well we will C Brady quinns hidden talents LOL when was the last time ND beat USC or any other big team for that matter by the way long USC fan also an alum. Weis had his shot and as far as USC going to south bend this year dont worry the out come will be the same as last year but this time only worse. ND just stick to Education because football isnt for you. One big reason USC eduacation stats are down is because kids leave as early as possible. I mean when your a junior and have the potential to be a first round draft pick, what would you do?

June 27, 2007  03:11 PM ET

Stormchaser.....

June 27, 2007  03:11 PM ET

Stormchaser????

June 27, 2007  03:12 PM ET

Stormchaser??????????

June 27, 2007  03:14 PM ET

Who is this friend you speak of? I have no friends affiliated with that program that you seem willing to lay your life down for. I am just happy to point out that your prestigeous program's highest paid coach ever is the dude they hired and fired on impluse. Sad when this "friend" was plan B after George O'leary took a dump on ya.

The highlight of Davie's tenure was an 36-20 upset win in 1998 over Michigan, the defending national champion. Davie also helmed the thrilling 25???24 victory over USC at Notre Dame Stadium in 1999.

Notre Dame's all time record stands at 821 wins, 269 losses, and 42 ties .744% Its 821 wins are second only to Michigan, who has been playing football for 9 more years.

Notre Dame's 269 losses are the lowest of any college programs that have been playing football for 100 years or more.

USC Trojans 742-300-54 .702%
Losing streaks of 11 years (1983-1993) to intersectional rival Notre Dame and 8 years (1991-1998) to crosstown rival UCLA
