T.O. backs Romo, offers Cowboys owner advice

Magnanimous guy that he is, Terrell Owens sent Tony Romo a text message yesterday telling him that no matter what happened against the Eagles, no matter how awful the quarterback played, he would shed tears for him again, the way he did last season after Romo stumbled against the New York Giants in the playoffs. And Romo was indeed awful, unable to lead the talented Cowboys into the playoffs, or even into the end zone, as the Eagles humiliated them, 44-6, before a delighted crowd at Lincoln Financial Field. "I just told him, no matter what, I'm still the same guy who shed tears for him at last year's press conference, and I'd do it again, because that's the type of person I am, regardless of what anybody thinks or says about me," Owens said. But T.O. said he would be on board with whatever changes the Cowboys make during the off-season. He even offered to help owner Jerry Jones get things straightened out, if Jones asked him. Asked if the players supported the coaching staff, Owens said, "I'm not sure. All I know is, I want to win. I want to be put in a position to win. I think we have the pieces here to get the job done. Whatever unfolds during the off-season has my full support. If Jerry asks for any advice, I will give him my honest opinion."

this season surely went to h e l l in a handbasket pretty flipping quick. now we're further behind as far as long term talent goes because u sell the farm for Roy Williams for absolutely nothing in return. its a sad day for cowboys fans the world around. need to sure up that o -line, still need another WR, need a safety and more than anything we need a flippin QUARTERBACK! as long as brooks bollinger is backing romo up he will continue to make the stupid throws that he has no business making, because he knows he has no chance to get benched. quality QB, who can be a starter will force romo to tighten his game up or he can sit the bench and watch from the sideline. too many holes to be filled in one off season unless we get creative during free agency and or put a player up for trade bait and try and get ourselves back into the draft. not really gonna upgrade the team w/ a 2nd and a couple of 4th round picks.

trade barber for a 1st and 2nd, go with felix and choice splitting carries and in the 4th round take a bowling ball back for short yardage and goal line situations. we wont be able to keep felix, barber, and choice in the fold in 3yrs anyway, so might as well get some value while we can. use those picks on positions other than QB, 1st round get an o-line man if he's available and not a reach, then get the best QB available in free agency

Anyone who would give up a 1st and 2nd round pick for Barber should be committed to a mental institution.

Here's some advice Jerry Jones: get T.O. out of your locker room as soon as possible. He's divisive, not a team-player and a locker room cancer. How many teams must underachieve because they are in-fighting due to T.O. before the Cowboys and the NFL see the trend. I hate the Cowboys, but guys like Romo, Witten, Barber who played with one foot and Ware don't deserve this. Get T.O. off your team, utilize Roy Williams, who last time I checked didn't forget how to play wideout, like you should and get back to TEAM, not T.O. football. Jerry Jones will waste what could be a great era for the Cowboys but keeping that idiot on the team.

I guess the Cowgirls were over-rated. Nice to see the team show up when the game is on the line.

"If Jerry asks for any advice, I will give him my honest opinion." I would tell him to "Give me the ball more." Yup thats what I would tell'em.

Jerry seemed pretty damn convincing when he said last night that he's not changing coaches.
