I actually heard that Bettman found out Wrigley sells kosher hot dogs and the fuhrer could not stand for such things. If you want to create controversy, might as well make a racial firestorm.

Its not the ticket sales, its the weather. This coming from outside Chicago though. We've had very cold weather, lots of snow too. We have one weekend of warmer weather, and Bettman's panicking. This is Chicago, not Miami. It will be plenty cold for the Classic.

Weather.com is projecting a high of 31 the day of the game, how cold do they need it? I'm pretty sure it's warmer in any arena than 31 during a game.

If the weather is inclement, would they call the game on account of rain like baseball, or would they play through it like football?

If they can't have it in Chicago, how about Winnipeg? Oh wait, that might bring out the fans and talk about moving a team there. Can't have that.
Hopefully, it will be a go in the windy city anyways.

Exactly. I was out there to see the Flyers Hawks game on Friday. It was 62 degrees on Saturday, but it was about 20 at O'hare yesterday with thirty mile an hour winds. Nothing was mentioned about not playing on the local news there.

My dad was there just recently and evidently the windchill and the wind were ridiculous. It's possible that the weather is going to be low as hell but Bettman should suck it up and keep it going.
