Bryce McNeal, the 6-foot-2, 175-pound Breck wide receiver with 4.4-second speed in the 40-yard dash, plans to decide Saturday among the Gophers, Clemson, Oregon and Colorado for college. McNeal, who decommitted from Michigan, said Monday he has no favorite, not even Minnesota.

Grammar police for the headline writer -- shouldn't that be "...decide AMONG four schools"??

yet another painful Michigan decommit

December 30, 2008  11:11 AM ET

I hope he goes to Minnesota, they are heading in the right direction and it would be cool to see a good gopher team...the big ten is coming back

December 30, 2008  12:15 PM ET

Is it just me... Or does Michigan lose a commit... Every couple of days or so???... Man oh man

The worst mistake Michigan made was hiring Rodriguez.

You have to wonder what's going through Shavodrick Beaver's head now that Malzahn is heading to Auburn. I'll bet he wishes he had waited a week to make that decision.

thank you for you unbiased opinion... Ohio State should have never showed up to the last two BCS championship games

December 30, 2008  10:12 PM ET

michigan should have never showed up to the last 5 ohio state games.

December 30, 2008  11:45 PM ET

Did Michigan show up? j/k...I dont like RR, and I like a strong UM, but alas, RR doesnt believe that u change the system to match the players he has. Time will tell though...

They didn't last year for sure. At least Lloyd Carr's teams showed heart and he always had integrity.

December 31, 2008  01:55 AM ET

Ok, so he's down to Oregon if he wants to win fb games. I guess the other 3 are for academic reasons?

December 31, 2008  08:34 AM ET

Can anyone blame the kid? Michigan is awful.

December 31, 2008  10:51 AM ET

Rodriquez is getting his just desserts.

Go figure a WVU fan that hates RR. Not that he did anything for the Mountaineers! Dumba$$

McNeal wanted to come back after Michigan waxed Minnesota in Minneapolis but he was not encouraged to come back after his initial decommitment.

I know rankings of recruiting classes really don't mean much (it's always wait and see) but Michigan is ranked 8th in the country by Rivals.com. Their recruiting class is just fine.

Michigan insiders on Michigan.scout.com say that Campbell is still a 50-50 chance. It would be a blow to Michigan if he goes elsewhere.

Newsome is very old news (8 months) and I am glad he found a spot at PSU. Michigan still has Tate Forcier the 6th ranked dual threat QB.

In 2010 Michigan will be back in the top 2, 3 or 4 of the Big Ten and in 2011 they will be back in the top ten of the country.
