Boras calls Dodgers about Manny

The Dodgers' on-again, off-again negotiations with Manny Ramirez appear to be on again. Scott Boras, the agent for Ramirez, said he contacted the Dodgers Tuesday, one day after General Manager Ned Colletti told The Times that Ramirez remained "our first choice." The Times also reported the Dodgers had begun exploring possible alternatives in Bobby Abreu and Adam Dunn. Boras said he expected the market for Ramirez to start taking shape soon, with the end of the holiday season and the signing of Mark Teixeira, the most coveted hitter among free agents, by the New York Yankees.

He's 35 and one of the greatest hitters in the game.

Next time, do your homework BEFORE you come to school.

looks like the boston fans are out early this morning... the only ones that are upset about Manny are Boston fans... they are just realizing the once again boston is going to suck **** for 86 years....

GO YANKEE'S

I will also be jumping on the Muck Fanny wagon as well, he made his bed and now he has to sleep in it. Who is willing to offer a guy big money long term who only plays when he feels like it and can't play defense. It would be sweet justice for what he did to the game by refusing to play and forcing a trade if he doesn't get more than the 20 mil a year he would have had with the sox. I hate the Yankees for the signings they made this off season but they were playing by the rules. Pretending to be injured and being a pre-madonna is something that really hurts baseball. How can we cheer for guys that don't even pretend to care?

on another note: is it kind of funny that manny is so scummy that even boras has been distancing himself from him. If Scott Borras thinks what you did was scummy then... wow thats scummy

I seem to recall Yankees fans laughing at us for what Manny did to us, but now that he may end up there ... they're all ... we want his bat. That's exactly why Boston coddled him for so long.

If he goes to the Yankees, I doubt he does now, they will love him too....for a bit:)) Red Sox fans will hate him more....
