South Mecklenburg High linebacker/fullback Spencer Shuey, who has seen his college recruitment increase dramatically since an outstanding performance in the Shrine Bowl, has set up tentative visits with some of his new suitors. He expects to visit Clemson Jan. 9, North Carolina Jan.16 and Tennessee or Illinois Jan. 23, according to his father.

Tennesee is awful. What a carbuncle on the buttocks of college athletics.

well who do you pull for? Probably some team with a lousy tradition and no national titles. Unlike my Vols.

Based on where you're from, you are probably a Syracuse fan still reeling from losing to TN last time they played.

Nope. Buckeyes football, and Duke basketball. And don't even start talking smack, comparing that redneck wilderness of college athletics that is Tennessee to OSU or Duke, because there's no use. You'll lose everytime.

Tennessee is horrible. They're going nowhere at light speed. You know it, I know it, and even Tennessee knows it. The only one worse is Syracuse. Let's move on.

What a fan. Choosing one school for football and another for basketball. Guess there's not much to choose from up in NY. I'll talk smack and back it up if you'd like. UT is on the way back up. At the very least the current staff will load up on talent ala Ron Zook, but I have a feeling these guys can coach, too. An OSU fan has no business piping in about anything SEC anyway. Nice use of the term carbuncle, though. You must know something about it..

So i get it, You are from NY cheer for a football team from Ohio & a basketball team fro N.C., Nothing like being deticated to your Home Teams, Eh? My question to you is why are you even blog'n on an UT topic. Can you even name 5 players on the UT team? Without looking it up online. You are just wasting blog space here, no one even cares in the slightest about your opinion on UT sports.
