Longhorns' Kindle weighs NFL decision

With a variety of questions Friday, reporters kept trying to get a clue about Sergio Kindle's plans during interviews at the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl. Would he come back to Texas and become the 2009 version of Brian Orakpo? Or did he have one foot out the door to the NFL draft? For now, no decision has been made. Kindle and his father, Johnny Walker, met with Will Muschamp after Christmas to talk about the NFL, with another meeting scheduled after the bowl. While Kindle is waiting to get his evaluation from an NFL advisory committee, his father said in a phone interview they have established guidelines for making a decision. "If it's the first round, he's coming out for sure," Walker said. If Kindle is projected as a second-round pick, it's more of a 50-50 proposition, Walker said. Anything lower and he will return to Texas.

Come back and be part of the FU BCS/AP tour next year!!!! It starts in the cotton bowl when we stomp a mud hole in mobilehoma and continues when Kindle continues Orakpo's dominance on the Defensive end and Colt wins what is rightfully his...the HEISMAN!!! And then of course ends with us dismantling usc....see Rose Bowl 2005.

HOOK 'EM HORNS!!

I agree Bacon on your entire Kindle statement. But lest you forget--the Games on the field don`t mean that much anymore. Now the emphasis seems to be on who can run up the biggest score on a hapless opponent, which i am proud that Mack Brown did not do. How in the hell a ridiculous factor such as "Style points" made its way to the silly BCS computer rankings baffles everyone--except of Course Back door Bob and his *Asterisk champ Sooners. Nobody mentions the REAL poll anymore when almost 80% of fans agreed that Texas got screwed after Beating OU fairly. If I were a Sooner player id go to Lubbock and pick up a mask ( I`m sure the streets are littered with them ) and wear it into the game. But Sooners don`t have any shame or integrity---That`s their Legacy.
O well, ONE of the teams won the right to be in the National title game--Go Gators

might as well go and get that guac, cuz OU will be Big 12 champs yet again next yr....yeah i said it back to back to back to back BIG 12 champs!

stop hating, its not a good look! OU had nothing to do with the tie break system. if UT didnt lose a game it would be a mute point. so suck it up and quit ur belly aching and whining.

Waaaaaaaaa. You pooooor Texass fans. What was OU supposed to do, say "NO" when told they won the South? Yeah...like crybaby mack would.
Grow up and move on, little one. You know in your heart that if OU/Tx played again, your hornless calves would get slaughtered, just like TTU did.

Waaaaaaaaaaa.....you poor little shorthorn fans..... You KNOW that if the two teams played again that OU would lambast your little boys, just as they did TTU. So cry me a freakin' river. Like crybaby/whiner mac would refuse to accept the Big12South, if in the same boat... It took 5 tie-breakers to get to their decision, and everybody agreed on the rules when they were made. So quit your crying and get over it. And just be glad your shorthorns weren't matched up with the Utes.

But I do agree that Bradford had a Heisman season. So did McCoy--So Did Tebow.

I love that Florida is going to beat OU.

OU fans make a living with Texas athletes...but they can't match Tebow. Just like when McCoy beat them by 10 in Dallas....Tebow is going to dominate in a Florida stadium.

Get ready OU....this team is better than LSU, Boise and West Virginia....and all of those beat you like the rug you are.!!!

January 3, 2009  06:47 PM ET

PS Texas beat you on the field....on a neutral field. How hollow it must feel to go to the championship game....

January 3, 2009  07:12 PM ET

The Horns season ended in October win they finally won the game against the Sooners in the 4th quarter . It means so much to you poor crybabies that beating OU makes your season ! Your team quits playing because you only play to beat OU !! The Sooners play for championships !! You want proof ? Texas has won 2 of the last 3 games and then quit because thats all they play for , OU went on with their season and has won the last 3 south division titles , the last 3 Big 12 titles and what have the Horns won ? We will continue to compete with you for the Red River Title but we WILL keep our 6 BIG 12 titles [ to your crummy 2 titles ] and while we compete for our 8 th NATIONAL TITLE you crybabies enjoy your game representing the Big 12 in your bowl . GO BIG 12 ! GO HORNS ! GO SOONERS !

Play a better OOC schedual ! OU 5-1 AGAINST the top 25 ranked teams in the BCS ! Texas Tech [ the team to beat you in THE LAST SECOND after leading the entire game ] 2-1 , your crybaby horns 3-1 . I heard that you have Maine and Montana St on your future schedual ! Maybe that will get you in the big game ! You Think ? Go SOONERS WIN THAT 8 TH NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP !!!!!!!!

January 4, 2009  01:02 AM ET

Not much to worry about. I expect Zero U will lose this BCS game as well and end up in its proper place, behind Texas in the final rankings. The Horns will take care of business in the Fiesta, while Zero U will prove to be overrated again. Go Gators!
