How will Phillies replace Romero?

07:17 AM ET 01.07 | Phillies GM Ruben Amaro said J.C. Romero's replacement likely would come from within the organization, although the Phillies will consider free-agent options. Because Romero will be eligible to return June 1, they don't have to think long-term. The loser of what figures to be an interesting battle for the No. 5 spot in the rotation could find himself in the bullpen. Amaro mentioned lefthander J.A. Happ and righthander Kyle Kendrick, both of whom figure to be involved in the competition, as options to replace Romero. Happ made the postseason roster as a reliever but is considered a starter by the front office. Kendrick, meanwhile, lost his spot in the rotation late last season. The presence of veteran lefthander Scott Eyre gives the Phillies some flexibility.

Hi RSB & AngelFan ... FN obviously does not have their act together yet.

Good morning Cat I hate when they are playing peek a boo with my comments especially since I love seeing myself talk so much.

Dammit there goes my comment again. UGHHHH!

I'm thinking GNC should give JC a job while he's suspended it's the least they could do.

January 7, 2009  08:46 AM ET

So easy to replace Romero, just get yourself a slightly above-average pitcher, get him all doped up, throw him in there, and voila, world **** champions!

They'll sign another juiced up pitcher. I hear Clemens is available.

I'm blaming all this on the spammer guy Fred. Since he posted hiscrap it must have mucked up the system some how.

Hate to disappoint, but I haven't seen much hating so far today....There just wasn't a thread of any interest, so everyone landed here.

When are you changing back to that hot little Red Sox babe? I have such fond mammaries of her......

That is unacceptable. But so is this broad you're sportin'. She just doesn't measure up, if you get my drift.

I saw someone else sportin' the avatar. I had to look twice ... I'm sure you can come up with something even more tantalizing!

Perhaps you could encourage her to step it up to full-blown nudity, with a little bit of a nip showing....it's certainly done wonders for YOUR social life!
