Maryland tackle will go pro
Maryland tackle Jared Gaither will enter the NFL supplemental draft, leaving the Terrapins after two tumultuous seasons. Gaither made the decision to enter the July 12 draft less than a week after he was ruled academically ineligible for the upcoming season.

Despite around-the-clock tutorials, tag teams of professors, and multimedia instructional techniques, Jared could only manage a low D in remedial coloring book procedures.

Say what you will, when I was at Maryland I had a half dozen or so athletes in my Engineering classes and they got no special privileges, and all did well and graduated.

That may not be the norm, but not everyone takes remedial coloring book procedures, we might be color blind and know we cant pass!

All I can say is Jared who?? I mean I've never even heard of this guy (which is hard to believe seeing as Maryland is such a powerhouse), so good luck with your pro career. Arena League Football here I come.

Despite his lack of academic talent, he is tremendously gifted on the field. Some team will be very lucky to obtain his raw but potentially all-pro football talent.
