09:14 AM ET 02.01 | Michael Irvin thinks Rod Woodson is "soft." "Soft," Irvin repeatedly said while talking with Scott Paulsen, Mike Logan, and Eddy Crow of ESPN Radio 1250 in Pittsburgh. "When I lined up with him I saw intimidation in his eyes," Irvin said. "I just call that soft." After Irvin finished his thought, the hosts moved to another topic. And Irvin then pulled it back to Woodson and pointed out that Irvin repeatedly beat Woodson when they played.

Figures a coke-head like Irvin would disrepect someone on the day they go to the Hall....Stay class Irvin and stay classier Big D!!!

February 1, 2009  09:18 AM ET

Very classy Michael, calling a man soft the day he gets elected to the Hall. Isn't there a troubled, club-shooting Cowboy you need to interview?

February 1, 2009  09:19 AM ET

Could it be because his team (Steelers) is in the Super Bowl and your team can't even make the playoffs?

February 1, 2009  09:23 AM ET

Ummm... Thats pretty darn funny to me. I mean rivalry is what its all about right. I love the fact that Mike still keeps it real and goes hard when he needs too.

How is Mike keeping it real? Didn't he bawl like a baby when he got elected? So if anyone understands the prestige and honor it should be that doofus. If Mike was keeping it real, he'd call T.O. out for being a cancer instead of massaging his nutts to come on his radio show. Puhleeze, it was a classless move by a classless man who represents a classless organization.

when keepin' it real goes wrong.

Irvin has a reality show next season so he needs to stay in the news.....throwing a Hall of Famer under the bus gets a few days juice.

February 1, 2009  09:36 AM ET

I don't think he was intimidated, I think he was just checking out your disco nose.

February 1, 2009  09:41 AM ET

Stay classy Michael! ****!!!

February 1, 2009  09:46 AM ET

Now I remember why Philadelphia cheered Irvin's career-ending injury.

February 1, 2009  09:52 AM ET

Irvin was a real good player & he won....
but he is NOWHERE near the best receiver of all time-

Woodson is arguably in the discussion fo the the best CB of all time

So mike- shutty

Now hold on just a second... You know that you have those one or two people that regardless of the situation you are going to take a shot at. I mean its fairly simple when you think about it. Rod was kind of soft too. Not Deion "No tackling" soft, but he was soft. Mike has taken his shots at T.O. but at the same time he is not going to be dumb. Classless owner and a few classless teammates doesn't make it a classless organization.

And he wonders why the Eagles fans cheered wildly when he was carted off the field for the last time.

Nah not anyone's, any cowboy or giant, yes, they would go to the point of hoping its life threatening for a member of those clubs. But beyond that nah.

February 1, 2009  10:14 AM ET

Just because you can doesn't mean you should. This is one of those instances, and I love Playmaker but come on man. Now wasn't the time or place for that.

February 1, 2009  10:15 AM ET

Irvin is just what he is.....phoney.

February 1, 2009  10:15 AM ET

Who knows anything Irvin says? He speaks a language that does not exist on this planet . Unless he texted this, then I would not put too much in to it. He most likely said " I bus ball, that aw." and not "I just call that soft."
