07:29 AM ET 02.06 | So much for reverting to the old scheduling model. When Bill Snyder was rehired as Kansas State's football coach Nov. 24, there was immediate speculation that he would attempt to remove the Wildcats from a couple of potentially troubling nonconference games already in place on future schedules, notably a road trip to UCLA this fall. But according to K-State officials today, the Wildcats will travel to Pasadena as planned Sept. 19.

Obviously UCLA threatened penalties and added publicity if Snyder backed out. Snyder's history of playing powderpuffs is one of the biggest in the NCAA.

if you saw the (b)ruins play last year they are THE creampuff on the schedule.

As it now stands, KSU has UMass (home), TBD, UCLA (away), followed by TBD. Could be 1-3 with that schedule, or 3-1. Depends on who fills in for TBD and TBD.

The dinosaur should have stayed retired.

LA-Lafeyette appears to be one of the TBDs. OK, maybe 2-2, one of the TBD/UCLA may swing KSU's way.

c'mon...show some RESPECT here. Consider yourself lucky IF you reach his age one day and accomplish what he has.

That's good.....KSU is the kind of team that really needs to have itself SEEN by the country and recruits....

As opposed to being seen ducking the likes of Fresno State.

I think what he meant is that they need to recruit outside of the state of Kansas, much like Nebraska has to recruit outside of the state of Nebraska. Getting seen on TV, etc. certainly helps with recruiting.

UCLA is on the rise, if Neuheisal doesn't get caught cheating they will be top ten in two years.
