09:19 AM ET 02.26 | OU team medical personnel will continue to closely monitor Blake Griffin's progress before clearing his return to action. Griffin wasn't ready to go Monday night, and his actions on the OU bench confirmed as much. Several times, after jumping up and down, he took a seat and rubbed his head. Other times, he plugged his ears when the crowd or music played loud. Griffin's father, Tommy Griffin, said his son was "nowhere near ready to play" before Monday's game. Now the focus shifts to Saturday, when the Sooners travel to Texas Tech. "There's a battery of tests that he has to be able to pass," said OU coach Jeff Capel. "If it were up to him, he would have played (Monday night). But it was the right decision not to have him play tonight. We're very hopeful we'll have him for Saturday."
