Sounds like sour grapes to me. Seems to me that if Shaq was camping out in the lane, and the refs weren't calling it, he should have been camping out with him--but I guess it's easier to whine than to play defense.

hmmmmm. A player accusing another player of cheating is pretty inflammatory. I see "cheated" in the title and in the story, but not in a quote attributed to Bosh. The three-second rule is arguably the loosest rule in the NBA. Every lowpost player pushes the rule. Looking solely at what Bosh said, it sounds like he's criticizing the officials, not calling Shaq a cheat. Another example of bad 'sports journalism'.

Didn't watch that game, but if the 3-sec-rule wasn't enforced I'm not surprised Shaq could exploit it. So to a certain degree I can understand Bosh complaining...

The NBA is a joke. They'll start calling 3 seconds when they start calling traveling. The WWE and NBA probably get their refs from the same places.

I absolutely agree with Bosh on this one. I watched the game and counted Shaq in there for 6 or 7 seconds at least a dozen times! Shaq gets away with a lot because he's Shaq...

Please, I'm not the biggest fan of Shaq and you're right about the free throws, they are his weakness.
But don't blame him for exploiting his physical advantage to beat his opponent. He's actually a freak of nature who knows how to use his huge frame to score.

About getting rings with Kobe, I thought it was the other way around: we all know O'Neal was the first offensive option and THE key defensive player during the Lakers' threepeat. Kobe is Kobe, so no disrespect to him but before Kobe there was Shaq.

after watching Shaq play in LA for a few years... I could not agree with you more!!

Add this to the rules Shaw gets an exemption for. He's well known for clearing the lane with the big arm sweep with no call for ages...

He's just upset that his team always allow star players to score loads against them. Kobe 81, Shaq 45, and cause he was the one that was probably guarding Shaq, and not doing a good job of it either.
