Why Izzo may shave his head

Tonight's game at Indiana could cost coach Tom Izzo his scalp. f Michigan State wins, that is. See, Izzo did what we all do now and then, get caught up in the moment and make some grandiose vow. But unlike us, he's lucky to have the media around to remind him what he said. Like Friday, when reporters pointed out that Izzo -- during September's student campout to register for the Izzone -- told the kids he'd shave his head if the Spartans won the Big Ten title. Which they now have two chances to do, with a win tonight at IU or at home Sunday against Purdue. "I think I did say that," Izzo said. "I'll have to check with my people." Oh, yeah, you said it. In fact, MSU clinched a share of the title with Sunday's win at Illinois, but Izzo said that wouldn't count.

I love the pics that CNNSI chooses. Looks like Izzo is having a heart attack or maybe he choked on his gum

After making the statement, he had better do it. My guess is that he will wait until after the end of the season (including tournament play) so he can hide from the cameras.

He got zapped by Bruce and Lloyd's lasergun.

Should be committed for having said it in the 1st place. But overall, a hell of a season for MSU.

Yet, UM had to go to OT to beat the practice squad. Might explain why UM is NIT bound.
