08:23 AM ET 03.03 | Imagine 6-foot-6, 270-pound behemoth Matt Patchan catching passes from Tim Tebow. Reports came out recently that rising sophomore Patchan is moving from the defensive and the offensive line, but defensive line coach Dan McCarney told me the staff is experimenting with Patchan at tight end behind Aaron Hernandez. "I think they may take a look at him some at tight end and offensive line both," McCarney said. "It's not like he's 290 pounds now. It's not like he can step in for Phil Trautwein or Big J (Jason Watkins) at tackle. He's tough and he can run, so he's going to be on the field somewhere. If it's not tight end, it's a tackle or a guard. Or he can come back to defense and play for me any time he wants."
