06:23 AM ET 03.05 | After one of its worst losses of the season, Rutgers basketball appears on course for another one: Corey Chandler. According to Alif Muhammad, head of the Alif Muhammad NIA School and friend of Chandler's, the sophomore guard will ask Rutgers for a transfer at season's end. Muhammad said that he is ready to file paperwork on Chandler's behalf to ask for a release from the school and is awaiting the final word from Chandler himself. Should Chandler indeed decide to transfer, he would be the second player to do so this season. Freshman Christian Morris transferred eight games into this season. Chandler, who is averaging 7.4 points and 3.5 in 20 minutes a game, has seen his playing time decrease dramatically as the season has gone on.

Good for him, Rosario better follow in the same footsteps before he ruins his career. How Rutgers, a program that is looking to make a name for itself in the Big East, hires a second rate unqualified assistant coach like Fred Hill to lead its basketball program really blows my mind. If the new AD wants to turn this program around and prevent more players from leaving and actaully be able to recruit some quality talent then his first move this off-season should be to fire that entire coaching staff and try to persuade one of Duke's associate head coaches Chris Collins or Steve Wojciechowski to take over the program. If they don't want to spend the money then maybe they need to look right around the corner and consider Danny Hurley the head coach at St. Benedicts Prep, he's a Jersey guy who knows talent and has the pedigree to suceed, his father is arguably the best high school basketball coach ever. Hopefully, it is not to late for Rutgers, Fred Hill and Dennis Gregory might have already driven that last nail in the coffin.

Considering the fact that the Alif Muhammad NIA School is a elementary and secondary school, this Alif Muhammad sure has his hands all over this kid.

I think Wojo shouyd be ready to take over a program by now. The only think that got him on the court in the first place was his court acumen and defensive intensity. Couple those with knowledge from coach K about how to recruit quality and change schemes to those that fit your players and you have a program built on strong foundations.
