08:09 AM ET 03.06 | Who will start at shortstop for the Red Sox on Opening Day? Terry Francona isn't ready to answer that yet. In fact, with a month to go before that point, the Boston manager doesn't feel as if there's a rush. Julio Lugo and Jed Lowrie were both in the lineup for Thursday's exhibition game against Puerto Rico, with the latter playing third base. ugo, in the third year of his $36 million contract, has underperformed in his first two years in Boston, but the Red Sox want to give him a clean slate this season. Lowrie showed poise and consistency while being thrown into the fire last year as a rookie after Lugo tore his left quad before the All-Star break.
