08:23 AM ET 03.06 | Some people are wondering if Joe Mauer would move from the Twins to the Boston Red Sox or New York Yankees if the price is right when he can become a free agent after the 2010 season. The Twins must be wondering the same. This week, general manager Billy Smith was expected to meet with Mauer's agents, who were spotted at spring training in Fort Myers, Fla.

Agreed, and they always seem to originate with the St Paul Pioneer Press, whatever that is...

It must be a very odd paper, in that they keep reporting events from the future that have yet to occur.

I need to pick up a copy and see what the stock market looks like two years from now, or at least grab a few Powerball numbers....

not sure what the question is- very simply put
as a famous movie personality once said-
SHOW HIM THE $$$$$

- he has already said he'd take a hometown discount
there is no way in the world the Twins shouldn't putt all their
eggs into his basket-
good guy, good catcher, hometown kid.
UNREPLACABLE

This is the 3rd time this off season or is it the fourth at least this time they involved the Yankees in it. Usually it's the Red Sox who are eyeing him for 2011.

After all the tiresome reading about Manny and A-Rod, I welcome this article, with open arms. Too often a special player, is a lesser known commodity, due to the fact that they play in a smaller market. So many people jump on the "I hope the Yankees or Red Sox don't sign him" bandwagon. Well, I am on that bandwagon, because Joe Mauer is a great player and deserves all the recognition he gets. I can only hope my Cardinals get rid of slow butt Molina and can sign Mr. Mauer.
