Source of Pacman's problems
Although Pacman Jones had several discipline issues as a teenager -- the two-sport star was kicked off the basketball team at Westlake High for a time -- Jones graduated six years ago with honors. What has tilted Jones -- already suspended for the upcoming NFL season because of his off-the-field troubles -- to the edge of career suicide? "Money," said Tony Douglas, Jones' youth football coach at Sandtown Park in southwest Atlanta. "It seems like it all stems from money. I mean, he had nothing growing up -- nothing -- and suddenly there's millions of dollars. I think it's been hard for him to handle."

His agent alluded to the same thing. I think Pacman himself would say the same thing - shift the blame, everyone.
How about we let him play for no money? That'd solve all his problems, right?

Yeah because if he was poor he'd be much better behaved. Don't poor people also say that the reason they commit crimes like muggings, robberies, shoplifting, etc. is because they are poor? Make up your minds. Or better yet, stop making lame-assed excuses and accept the fact that you are a miserable excuse for a human being.

Money?!!? Oh, yeah, that's the problem. Um, how about when Pacman was "kicked off the basketball team at Westlake High for a time"? Did he have millions then? Just another excuse. Pathetic!! Tony Douglas is an idiot for that remark. It aint money. It is yet again, stupidity. It all boils down to him thinking he was and is invincible.
"Hey everybody, I'm Pacman. I make "money". In fact I make millions of dollars. I sure would like to cause trouble because I have "money", um millions. I can get away with it too because I have "money", darn it, millions. My millions makes me want to start more trouble. I should be a youth football coach like my old youth coach Tony Douglas so I could stay out of trouble. These millions make my brain hurt. I graduated with honors however no one indicated to me that making "money", er millions was gonna make me want to get into even MORE stupid trouble. I grew up in a poor neighborhood and didn't have anything. Barely a bite to eat. :(
What do I do? What is a man with all this money to do? Ding Ding!! I have a fantastic idea. I will go and hire my ol neighborhood homies and carry'em around like "My Buddy" dolls. Where ever I go, they go. Who cares about their rap sheet or their eagerness to shoot the hell outta any moving targets. My brain hurts because I really can't handle all this "money"! Please coach, call me and tell me what to do? I have a lot of free time on my hands and I am sure I can squeeze you in. Maybe you can help me get back to nothing since I have an issue with "money". Just maaaaybe you should take my money. Wait! A! Minute! someone stupid just told me that at my pace I will get myself back to nothing. Their so stupid. I'm calling Tank! He knows best. No! I am calling Mike, as in IRON MIKE TYSON. He will get me to thinking straight!"
Please, just another excuse. Pathetic!!!

I've just got to say it: Filthy Yambag is THE GREATEST name I have ever had the priveledge to see on this site! The only thing I've ever seen that came close was when I played in a fantasy league with some guy who named his team "The James Brown ToiletCam". Truly an honor,

My arse. Lots of big league players had no money growing up and they don't bring $81,000 to a stip joint. Maybe because he mother does not know who is daddy is might be one of the reasons!

I agree its money...Pacman is a moron, but when he was a poor moron he was limited in just how big a fool he could make of himself...now with millions he can have a whole posse of idiots and participate in grand schemes of idiocy and thuggery. Pacman = idiot. Pacman + $$$$ = super idiot.

So now sports franchises in America should shy away from signing poor kids from who grew up in tough situations? Tony Douglas' comments are absolutely offensive to the millions of poor individuals who came from inner cities, rural settings, and other disadvantaged settings who, when were given bags of money for playing a game, handled themselves correctly and with class. There are way more people in PacMan's growing-up situation who have done it right and trouble-free than have blown it like he has. Yet we all dwell on the bad ones like him. That tells you a lot about our society I fear.

"Pacman = idiot. Pacman + $$$$ = super idiot." - kdmajoslin
Could not have been put any better. I have a hard time crying a river over a guy whose only function in life is to swat down a ball, work out, and act like a civilized human being. The sad fact is that he was given a gift most of us on FanNation wish we had. I would love more than anything to play on Sundays and get rich while doing it. It is just a shame when you see all that talent wasted on a person so unworthy.

Question: What is the difference between Pacman and Warrick Dunn?
Warrick also came from an impoverished background and was basically the sole support for his siblings while he played at Florida State. So what kind of immature, criminal behavior does he engage in when gets wealthy? Well, he buys homes for mothers and their children who can barely afford any housing at all. Jeez, what's wrong with Warrick? Doesn't he know how to make it "rain money"?? I guess he got confused and made it rain humanity and compassion instead. That should be a lesson to all of us. That's what happens to poor misguided souls like Warrick Dunn when they don't have the wisdom of an agent or a posse of hangers-on to keep them on the straight and narrow, like Pacman is!!!
What's next? Dikembe Mutombo sending millions to relieve poverty and starvation in Africa? Ridiculous!!! Bless you, Pacman, bless you!!!
