Injured Illinois guard Chester Frazier didn't practice Monday and coach Bruce Weber sounds less optimistic that Frazier will play in Thursday night's NCAA tournament opener against Western Kentucky in Portland, Ore. "If he did play, it would be minimal," Weber said Monday. "It's a little bit of a long shot." Frazier, who is right-handed, suffered a broken right hand in practice Wednesday and didn't play in the Big Ten tournament. He participated only in conditioning drills Monday and has a doctor's appointment Tuesday before the team flies to Oregon. Calvin Brock is expected to make his third straight start.

They really need him, it's too bad cause he's a really classy kid. Doomed is right, they don't stand much of a chance without him, would be very lucky to make it to the next round.

QUOTE(#1):

Maybe they can crack that elusive 34 point barrier, but they are one and done. Time to watch the Big Ten's annual first weekend mass exodus. Purdue and Michigan State are the only teams that will play a third game.

The Big 10 has had more Final Four teams than any other conference over the past decade
