Al Davis wants to embarrass Kiffin

06:04 AM ET 03.18 | Raiders owner Al Davis and former coach Lane Kiffin got together again Tuesday morning, sitting down in a suite inside the same hotel they first met more than two years ago. The first meeting was about hiring Kiffin away from USC. Tuesday's meeting was about Kiffin trying to get two month's pay he feels the Raiders owe him after he was fired in September. Davis began his deposition in Kiffin's grievance claim at 11:30 this morning at an Oakland hotel. Kiffin, who gave his deposition Monday in San Francisco, decided to join his lawyers in the room -- thus bringing the two face-to-face for the first time since weeks before Kiffin was fired four games into the 2008 season. Neither party had much to say, pointing to a gag order issued by the NFL, which is overseeing the case. Rest assured about one thing: this case has nothing to do with money. Davis wants to embarrass Kiffin, from the overhead projector firing to Friday's release of a letter to the University of Tennessee. Kiffin wants to stick it to Davis one more time and show he can cash out in ways Mike Shanahan wasn't able to.
