Dolphins interested in Jets guard

Jets guard Pete Kendall, who is seeking a $1 million raise from $1.7 million, wants to be released, and The New York Daily News reported that's a possibility. If that happens, the Dolphins are expected to have an interest because of doubts about whether veteran Chris Liwienski or rookie sixth-rounder Drew Mormino can handle the job.

Kendall has the grit and tenacity of a rabid pink lap poodle.

Its not like he could be a downgrade.

July 1, 2007  08:49 PM ET

It won't make a difference. The dolphins are going to suck with or without him. Dolphins are ALMOST as bad a the Vikings.

Congrats, Tom...I haven't spit up on the keyboard in months... :)

Everyone is talking junk about it.......But the fact is he is a major upgrade.......But the Dolphins??? Same Division.........I don't know about that trade.

This is a beginning of a New Era for Dolphins. Now that the Bengals are contenders and Lions are rebuilding, its time for some team to be the laughing stock for next 10 years. Dolphins fit to the T in that role.

I love it! Everyone loves to hate the Dolphins! People keep bringing up Culpepper. Bringing up Ricky Williams, and the draft. Truth of the matter is no one else picked Brady Quinn either. And Culpepper is done; the knee is something like String Cheese. Quinns not so secret belief that he is entitled to large money and playing time is a turn off! Plus the dolphins need speed to stretch the field(we are a running team, but no PA to speak of makes that kind of hard). They got a gun slinger in the 2nd round. His name ain't Quinn fine, but he seems workable, and has time to learn. Sure we will suck, it happens, especially, when you let someone like Saban have control of your team and he decides to try and win now, instead of rebuild. You can hate the team if you want, but to say we are heading into laughing stock status is laughable at best. The team has done all it can to try to improve. Truth be told, if the team continues to lose, people in Miami, (I live here) will stop buying season tickets. Remember people in FL are not as thrilled about football in early Sept. and October to begin with because usually we are dodging hurricanes and Tropical Storms or trying to stay nice and cool in front of the TV watching football. Wayne H. is a money man. He sees the Dolphins as a business. If the business starts to cost more than it makes, Wayne will sell, and hopefully Mark Cuban will by the team. For some reason we love Mark Cuban down here, maybe it's the name.

ok three, we get it, you hate the Dolphins, now get over it and shut your pie hole. Every post you make is trhe same crap over and over again. Miami did get better this offseason, that's a fact. They upgraded at the most important position at the field and don't have a walking (maybe untilhis knee blows up again) timebomb in Culpepper to have to rely on. Green is Solid. Even at 37 (let's not forget he has a extended shelf life becuse he did sit early in his career) They upgraded at the WR position, with more speed, and more flexability. They now have a solid dangerous special teams threat. The defense is still very good. They upgraded the kicking game (no idea why they stuck with Mare as long as they did, you can always count on him missing anything 40+ when it counts) And they are in the right track. So quit your whining and post something intelligent for a change.
