06:34 AM ET 03.21 | A couple of running backs might be moving in different directions on the draft board after this week's Pro Day workouts. The prospects could be rising for Michigan State's Javon Ringer. Per a league source, 24 teams were represented at his Wednesday workout in East Lansing. He improved his times in the 40-yard dash from 4.50 and 4.53 seconds to 4.42 and 4.47 seconds. He generated a 6.68 and a 6.75 in the three-cone drill, 3.72 and 3.83 in the short shuttle, and 10.92 in the 60-yard shuttle. Ringer's slower three-cone time was still 0.07 seconds faster than the best result generated by a running back at the Scouting Combine. He didn't re-do the bench press, vertical, or broad jump, resting on his Combine results. We're told that Ringer has a handful of workouts scheduled for the next two weeks and four team visits set for April.
