Master reporting!!! I have always been a Modo fan but if he is on the USA Olympic team in 2010, I really don't give them much of a chance at a medal.

I plan to change careers to one in Journalism if this is all it takes to write an article.

Typical selfish American player. That's what keeps killing their team, because they have enough talent to be a top contender year after year. But you get guys like Modano who refuse to admit that they aren't good enough to make the team expecting a roster spot on a team with no room for them. Like Roenick did last time around. REAL classy players know when their time has passed and step aside - the way Yzerman did for Lecavalier at the World Cup a couple years ago. Not trashing Americans, just the mind-set of American players, by the way. Modano is likely the greatest American player ever (I think it was Lafontaine, personally), and is considered classy, yet he pulls stunts like this one where he shows what I think are his true colors. Walk away and make room for an O'Sullivan or something - there are better 4th liners available out there, I am sure.

I hope that is all that was written in that article.

Being from the twin cities this is an embarrassing 'snippet'. I searched the Pioneer Press website and couldn't find anything related to this....

I guess its a good thing I read the Star Tribune instead right?

With Wilson as the coach, only the best will crack the line-up no matter what their past history was...
